Building Maintenance

In the autumn period of this year Jack has been doing lots of repairs and upgrades to the existing building and has project managed some bigger jobs like replacing the rotting balcony structure. Upstairs has had a clear out and was re-arranged to make it a more inviting space. External woodwork was varnished and the broken roof tiles replaced. The kitchen cupboard has been refitted to store race kit, radios and rib keys, and the rather hazardous lifting section of worktop has been removed and replaced with a notice board. A big thank you to Jack and also to a local business Jayridium Ltd who funded the balcony repairs and Leigh Michie Joinery who carried out the roof and balcony work. It's good to know there is still a lot of love for our old building.

More work is planned over winter including lighting upgrades and painting the ceilings.
