Club Weekend 2025
Details
We have a weekend of activities planned for our new annual club weekend. This year is our first time hosting this and so we are still figuring out how it will look and what activities are desired. The Saturday should have something for everyone with a selection of activities to choose from below. The Sunday will be a standard racing with a new themed cup up for grabs! The Saturday is concluded with a bring your own food bbq and music. Even if you aren’t coming sailing please do come along and see us in the afternoon at three for the bbq and catch up. The race groups and super splash have limited spaces so please do book quick. The social sailing and Sunday race do not have any cost as they will be run as normal by volunteers, if you are keen to help us out on the water, please let us know.
Saturday
- Race Training: 23rd August 09:30 - 14:30 £30*
Adult Level 2 (Youth Stage 3+)
6 spaces of race training to improve on areas decided on the day depending on interests.
-Start Race: 23rd August 09:30 - 12:00 £25*
Adult Level 2 (Youth Stage 3+)
6 spaces of race training to improve on areas decided on the day depending on interests. Followed by Social Sailing.
- Social Sailing with a race course: 23rd August 12:00 - 14:30. Free
Adult Level 2 (Youth Stage 3+)
Members can come sailing with safety cover in the bay
- Super Splash: 23rd August 12:00 - 14:30 £15
Stage 1 +
Fun and games lead by instructors in the marina. Topper/Oppie hire included.
Saturday concluded with a bring your own food BBQ & Music at 3pm
Boat hire will need to be arranged with Aberdeenshire Sailing Trust for the race training or social sailing if you do not have your own boat
*Costs cover the instructors and fuel for the desired option
