A Busy End to Summer Sailing

The end of summer saw plenty of activity at Peterhead Sailing Club, with our Friday Night Sailing series coming to a close in August.

Our final evening featured the annual pursuit race, with some rather foggy conditions making for an interesting evening on the water. Despite the weather, plenty of boats took part and made the most of the final Friday sailing of the season.

We then held our Club Weekend on 5th September, with a number of sessions running throughout the day. Although there was a good breeze, everyone was able to get out on the water before returning to the club for a mid-day BBQ.

Unfortunately, the wind had other plans for our Club Cup on the Sunday, with conditions forcing us to cancel the racing.

It was great to see the club so busy over the last few weeks, with members and local sailors making the most of the water and the opportunities available at the club.
